It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Morris Beard of Fisher, Arkansas, born in Forrest City, Arkansas, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Beard and Maxine Collier Beard; and his siblings, Claude, Big Sam, Michael, Johnny and Shirley.

He is survived by : his children, Janet Furrow (Sandy) of Pleasant Plains, Kim Beard (Michael) of McCrory, Sam Beard (Kayla) of Searcy and James Beard (Danielle) of Fair Oaks; his grandchildren, Josey, Caleb, Cheyanne, Chandler, Molly, Cameron, Elizabeth, Olivia, Joshua and Emma; his great grandchildren, Callie, Scarlett, Scott, Matilda and Ryker; his siblings, Francis Reed of Munster and Forrest Beard (Judy) of McCrory; his niece Brandy; and his wife Lynette Beard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kernodle Funeral Home (315 E Union Ave, Wynne, AR 72396). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fair Oaks First Assembly of God (30 C R 505, McCrory, AR 72101). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Barnishaw Cemetery.
