We bid farewell to James E. Shell of Flippin, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 9, 2025 at the age of 91. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Pearline Melton Shell; his wife Peggy Lou Hunt; his son Joey Shell; and his siblings, Denton Windell, Roy Dougie, Elvona and Anna Lou.
He is survived by: his son Jimmy Shell (Sandra) of Flippin; his sister Bobbie Pope of Tucson, Arizona; his grandchildren, Jason Shell of Melbourne, Jessica Hertz (Mike) of Southside and Kayla Johns (Llew) of Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Westyn Shell, Tolley Fletcher and Lynley Strother. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eddie's Family Funeral Home (79 Ball Park Dr, Melbourne, AR 72556). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Combs Cemetery.
