He was predeceased by: his parents, William Odis "Sonny" Smith and Mary Taylor Smith; his parents-in-law, Hezzie Daulton Daniels and Erma Joyce Miller; his siblings-in-law, Donnie Daniels and Patricia Lynn Daniels; and his grandparents-in-law, Hezekiah Hamilton Daniels and Annie Elizabeth Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Daniels Smith of Fordyce; his children, Daniel Hezekiah Smith (Allison) and Jennifer Elizabeth Rolniack (John); and his grandchildren, Hazel Ann Smith and Henry Hezekiah Smith.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benton Funeral Home (501 W 4th St, Fordyce, AR 71742). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
