He was predeceased by : his parent Jewell "Henry" Henderson Stanfield; his granddaughter Shelby Young; and his siblings, James Stanfield, Germaine Stanfield, Jewell Stanfield of Catherine Kelley, A. B, Louise Gunther, Anna Mae Breazeale, Don Stanfield and Jeane Feasler.

He is survived by : his wife Mitsie Stanfield of Fordyce; his children, Chris Stanfield (Michelle) of Fordyce and Jennifer Mitchell (Michael) of Fordyce; his sister Ruby Stanfield Sellers of Fordyce; and his grandchildren, Aaron Lyons, Samantha Doherty (Clint), Holly Welter, April Mitchell and Autumn Cox (Connor). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
