It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard David Myers of Fordyce, Arkansas, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert S. Myers and Nora Ryals Myers; his wife Virginia Myers; his siblings, Gilbert, Walter, Alvin, Larry Myers, Mary Stevens and Linda Jenkins; and his grandson Daniel Gee.

He is survived by : his children, Jeff Myers of Canton, Debra Myers of Fordyce and Sherry Gee (Ronald) of Clinton; his sister Martha Ann Jenkins of White Hall; his grandchildren, Chad, Denise, Heath, Michael, Amber and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Colin, Braden, James, John David, Richard, Olivia, Kenlee, Kolby and Devin; and his close friends, Pumpkin and Nina. He is also survived by grandchild.
