He was predeceased by: his parents, Guss Priest and Lucille Priest Stone; his close friend Mable Rae Jones; his stepfather Junius Bagg Stone; and his stepsiblings, J. B. Stone, Jr. (Mary) of Texarkana, Arkansas, William and C. Stone Sr. of New Boston.

He is survived by: his daughter Sue Jones Watkins of Fouke; his grandchildren, Kristi of Fouke Arkansas, Bubba Watkins of Fouke Arkansas, Gina of Fouke Arkansas, Rodney Watkins of Fouke Arkansas and Misty Watkins of Fouke Arkansas; his sisters, Pernica Foley of Greenville, Texas, Fay Armstrong of Mesquite and Judy Priest of Texarkana, Arkansas; his stepsister Vertie M. Arney of Lubbock, Texas; his sister-in-law Ann Stone of New Boston, Texas.; his cousins, James Woodrow Priest, Sheryl of New Boston, Sue Priest Frost, Connie of New Boston, Jimmie Lou Priest Green of Queen City, Beverly Dudley of Terrell, Gloria Jean Hetmer, Patty Moore of Terrell, Sharon West of Texas, William Stone, Janet of Raeford, Kimberly Armstrong Prunty of Nevada, Melissa Foley Norman, Robert of Royse City and Danny Foley of Texas; and his children, Levi, Lexi of Greenville, Matthew Aldridge, Sophia of Mesquite and Junius Stone Ill (Trey) of Texarkana, Texas.. He is also survived by children; however, numerous nieces, nephews.
