He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brooks and Florence Brooks (Wilson); his wife Nellie Brooks; his son Charles Brooks; and his brothers, Don and Bob Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth; his son-in-law Paul Snelgrove of Atlanta, TX; and his siblings, Doug Brooks of Ontario, Jean MacKinnon of Ontario, Carol Hood of Ontario and Doris Pflieger of Ontario. He is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
