With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Joe Stewmon of Forrest City, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billy Joe Stewmon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Stewmon and Liberty Bell Stewmon; and his wife Sara Thorn Stewmon. He is survived by: his children, Tom Stewmon (Marina) of Wynne, Brian Stewmon of Enterprise and Stephanie Devazier (Leonard) of Caldwell, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Nikifor Stewmon, Heath, Hunter, Harrison Devazier and Logan Stewmon; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Maggie, Harley, Hayes, Hayden, Huxton and Houston Devazier.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgewood Baptist Church (4002 AR-1 N, Forrest City, AR 72335). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lindsey Cemetery.
