With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Colvin of Forrest City, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2025 at the age of 74. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Doris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Shands and Martha E. Shankle Shands Wallace; her husband Vernon Colvin; her children, Joseph Allen Hambrick of Des Moines, Linda Ann Taylor of Columbus and Amy Hays (Wes) of Bradenton; and her sisters, Shannon DiMare of Bullhead City and Patricia Parrish of Corinth. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
