With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Warren Anthes of Forrest City, Arkansas, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Opal Cole Anthes and Jacob Marion Anthes; and his brothers, Alfred Anthes, Jacob Anthes and Richard Anthes.

He is survived by : his wife Cheryl (Cherie); his brothers, Frank of Strawberry Point, Iowa and Paul Anthes of Strawberry Point, Iowa; and his in-laws, Pete, Gayle Fader and Dorothy Anthes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Holy Grounds Community Coffeehouse (620 E Broadway Ave, Forrest City, AR 72335).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Doctors Without Borders.
