She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Smith and Pearlie Sail Smith; her sons, Terry DeFrance and Lewis Johnson; and also, Louis Johnson and Gloria Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Smith of Forrest City, AR, Brenda Thompson of Forrest City, AR, Margaret King of Forrest City, AR, Sharon Johnson of Forrest City, AR, Felecia Johnson Doyle of Forrest City, AR and Herman Smith of Fayetteville, AR; and her siblings, Elizabeth Metcalf of Forrest City, AR, Pearlie Daway of Orlando, FL and Willie H. Smith of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren, 28 great Grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
