It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Adams of Forrest City, Arkansas, who passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Lloyd Adams. He is survived by: his mother Martha L. Gunn Adams Watson of Forrest City; and his children, Angela Jones (Allen) of Forrest City, Dustin Adams (Jessica) of Forrest City, Alex Adams (Amanda) of Colt, James Melton of Wynne and Steven Melton (Jennifer) of Forrest City. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home (220 N Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the Forrest Park.
