With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wardell Carter Sr. of Forrest City, Arkansas, born in Wynne, Arkansas, who passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Wardell Carter Jr. of Fayetteville, Adrienne Carter of Jonesboro and Vernoica Walker of Wynne; and his siblings, Margaret Ann Stegen of Wynne, Darlene Davis of Fort Worth and Calvin Carter of Wynne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodard Funeral Service (350 F St, Wynne, AR 72396). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mason Sun Set Lodge 101 of Forrest City, Arkansas (310 Barrow Hill Rd, Forrest City, AR 72335).
