He was predeceased by: his father Asa Howard Sparks; and his stepfather Calvin Parkhurst (Buddy). He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Parkhurst Story of Fort Smith; his sisters, Libbie Lide (Gary) of Tennessee and Lori Gibson (Michael) of Utah; his daughters, Sela, Aleska, Hannah and Mykaela Sparks; his stepchildren, Evan and Laura Mino (Andrew); and his grandchildren, Ian, Oliver, Elizabeth, Amelia and Elliott.
