She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Lee O'Neal and Carrie Peters O'Neal; her former husband F. M. Gushing; her husband Sonnie Edwards; her close friend Jimmy Pickle; and her siblings, Hazel Holt, Troy, Boyd, Bill, Norman and Gorman O'Neal.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Sugg (Jack), Danny Gushing (Sharon) of Fort Smith and Fred Gushing (Jan) of Barling, AR; and her grandchildren, Brian Sanders, Heather Skurdahl, Chase Gushing, Sean Gushing, Pat Gushing and Tim Gushing. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
