Benny left this world on December 20, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lee and Dolly Ruth Deaver; and his brother James Marlin Deaver. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Deaver; his children, Jon Deaver (Anita) of Edmond and Lucia Turner (Robert) of Fort Smith; his grandchildren, Allen Deaver (Hannah) of Fort Smith, Eriq Deaver (Natalie) of Sherwood, Isaac Deaver (Jessica) of Mayflower and Ellie McCollough (Pete) of Van Buren; and his siblings, Barbara Oakes, Al Deaver, David Deaver and Denice Ingle. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Almost Home Shelter & Rescue (Van Buren), Oak Cliff Baptist Church VBS fund (Fort Smith), or the Alzheimer's Association.
