He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Sewell and Bob Sewell; his wife Teri Sewell; and his brothers, Bob and Jimmy Sewell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kari Sewell of Moore, Oklahoma and Traci Gilbert (Willie) of Moore, Oklahoma; his grandson Cameron Hahn; and his brother John Sewell (Dana Sewell).
