He is survived by: his wife Ruth Pendergrass Bynum (Pendergrass); his sons, Tracy Don Bynum and Danny Ray Bynum (Tracy); his brother Wesley "Sonny" Holland Bynum, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Heather Wade (Nick), Lacynda Perry (Jerome), Daniel Bynum (Jacqueline) and Derrick Bynum (Tiffany). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
