He is survived by: his wife Betsy Jacobs; his daughters, Shannon Reichwald of Germany and Jennifer Merkle of Germany; his stepson James Harmon; and his siblings, Lois Moon, Lester Garrett, Jim Jacobs and Betty Stone. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
