It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Polk (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Polk and Rosie Polk. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughter Billie Gayle Sanders (JR); his grandson Tanner Hooper (Marissa); his siblings, Earl Jr. Polk, Clifton Polk and Billie Jean Martin; and his siblings' child Robbie Kendig Bonewell.

“Carl was indeed a class act and a true friend. Carl's life was once saved by a guardian angel after an accident with high blind wires which was one of the most touching stories ever told. Carl will be missed by many, even though we haven't been in contact in several years. He was a guy who could become friends with a person only having one conversation with them. Goodbye buddy and enjoy your new home in heaven as there is no doubt God got him a good one in Carl.”
