With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Concepcion Canenguez of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on January 29, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Concepcion is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Concepcion's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Carranza and Luz Canenguez; her husband Alejandro Gomez; and her son Ricardo Zepeda. She is survived by: her daughters, Ana Gomez of San Jose, CA, Marlene Figueroa of Fort Smith, Reyna Gomez of Lancaster, CA, Flor Martinez of Fort Smith and Maria Zepeda of Fort Smith. She is also survived by one five sisters and four brothers; fourteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
