He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Frank Moon and Lavar Lorraine Moon (Freeman); and his close friend Tom Shimek (Carol). He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Moon (Diann) of Burnsville, MN, Mona Schrader (Lloyd) and Colleen Wangsness (Marlin) of Sioux Falls, SD; his brothers-in-law, Jim and Dennis Moeller; and his siblings' children, Jeremy Moon of Erie, PA and Jennifer Moon of Los Ranchos, NM. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Curt faced Parkinson's disease with courage and determination, participating in research at LSU in 2015 and a martial therapy program designed to combat the effects of neurological disorders.
