It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daisy Mayes of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Ray Mayes, Sr.; her siblings, L. G. Franklin, McCoy Franklin and Mary Lean'Maelean'Miller; and her parents, L. B. Franklin and Erma Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Marcus Bornslater (Keseya) of Dallas, TX, Travis Hollins (Tequllia) of Jonesboro, AR, Dequan Hollins of Ft. Smith, AR, Brianca Hollins of Ft. Smith, AR, Brittany Hollins of Conway, AR and Amber Hollins of Monroe, LA; and her siblings, Denzel Franklin of Tulsa, OK, Vera Morrison (Thomas) of Crossett, AR, Katie Bryant (Carl) of Fordyce, AR, Bobbye Davis (Marty) of Monticello, AR and Constance Franklin of Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
