He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ray Shepherd Sr. and Ramona Rae Shepherd (McMinn); and his wife Linda Shepherd. He is survived by: his daughters, Trish Jennings of Lavaca, AR, Jessica Shepherd of Fort Smith, AR and Jennifer Baggett (Chris) of Van Buren, AR.; his former wife Sandy Shepherd; his grandchildren, Justin, Trennan, Chris, Kyle and Alex; his great grandchildren, Mason and Riley; his sisters, Loretta Kent of San Antonio, TX and Sue Ebey of Mabank, TX; his cousins, Ronald Shepherd and Gary Shepherd; Jennifer and Jessica. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces.
A committal service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Smith National Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
