With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Mae Stormes of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Corning, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Donna Mae departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donna Mae may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donna Mae leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Orace Reeves and Gladys Reeves (Alexander); her son Keith Stormes; and her sister Fae Hewlett. She is survived by : her husband Clyde Stormes; her daughter Wendy Mathis (Jeff) of Van Buren, AR.; her siblings, Dell Bell of Greenbriar, AR., Lynette Ricker (Dolan) of Protem, MO. and Donald Rae Reeves of St. Louis, MO.; and her granddaughter Morghan Barnhill (Joey). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904).
