He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Raymond Gibbs and Grace Gibbs (Boyd); his siblings, Glenda Foster (George) and Ramon Gibbs (Ruth); his brother-in-law Harold Blanscet; his parents-in-law, Gene and Marie Blanscet; his niece Cindy Grubb; and his nephew Bobby Gibbs.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Gibbs; his son Kevin Ray Gibbs (Agnes); his granddaughter Kayla Spangler (Martin); his nieces and nephews, Lena Crain, Gena Olsen, Sherry Carter, Brooke Harris, Brian Trotter, Todd Blanscet, Dustin Blanscet, Harold Gibbs, Steve Foster and Mike Foster; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Dill and Diana Blanscet.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rye Hill Baptist Church's Building Fund for Future Growth.
