She was predeceased by : her parents, Frederick Rusert and Martha Knoernschild Rusert; her husband Carl Russell; and her children, Sandra Christiansen, Larry and Steve Russell.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Mast of Glenpool, OK, Nancy Kay of Sand Springs, OK, Brenda DeSilva of Broken Arrow, OK, Paula Rosario (Ralph) of Lone Oak, TX, Bryan Russell (Cindy) of Kansas City, MO and Dennis Russell (Wanda) of Huntington, AR; and her daughter-in-law Myong Russell. She is also survived by 22 grandkids and well over 50 great grandkids.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery (1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434).
