She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Dixon and Gertrude Dixon; her husband Walter Wade Goforth; her former life partner W. E. Dunn; and her siblings, Dorothy House, Ora Lee Taylor and Janet Goforth.

She is survived by : her sister Joyce Branham; her children, Brenda Sharum (Don) and Mark Goforth (Paula); and her grandchildren, Amanda Coco (Kipp), Erika Cameron (Dakota Brissey), Jessika Goforth (Steven Sellers) and Emily Summers (Clinton). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
