He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Marie Pederson (Post) and Corneal Huyser; his wife Lois Huyser; his children, Dale Huyser, Lafaye Huyser and Sherri Thuesen; and his siblings, Ronnie Huyser and Barbara Andrews.
He is survived by: his children, Mary "Miki" Brandenburg, Dudley Huyser, John Bivens III and Ken Thuesen; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Nickole, Kirsten, Zachary, Hunter, Shallyn, Brayden, Briauna and Billy Joe. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
