As Gary departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Cottrell and Mildred Cottrell. He is survived by: his wife Julia Cottrell; his children, Collin Cottrell (Emily) of Mount Pleasant, Alex Cottrell of Madison, Alabama and Anna Cottrell of Fayetteville, Arkansas.; and his sister Gayla Peters of Dyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
