He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Petersen Holmes (Phillips) and Marvin Henry Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Susan Petersen (Spicer); his son Zak Adrian Petersen (Katy) of Missouri; his stepson Greg Mobley (Ashley); his grandchildren, Chantz (Salina), Alli (Bryson), Abbi, Andi and Shandi; his great grandchildren, Josiah, Annalise and Waylen; his sisters, Virgina "GiGi" McBride and Cathy Manes; his nephew Scott McBride; and his niece Kelli Manes.
