He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sims and Mary Ruth Sims (Cameron). He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, David Sims of Fort Smith and Joanie Kerchevar of Leesburg, Virginia; his brother Robert Sims of Tupelo, Mississippi; and his grandsons, Evan and Dylan Kerchevar.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
