He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gene and Cassie Beulah Patterson (Hodge); and his former wife Mary Elizabeth Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Patterson; his son James Earl Patterson of Climax, MI; and his stepchildren, Tammy Land of Cove, AR, Sharon Pruitt of DeQueen, AR, Elaine Miller of Mena, AR, Cammie Johnston and Tony Hicks of Wickes, AR. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (4211 State Line Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
