She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Matheny and Hazel Matheny (Hand); her sister Bernita Houts; and her daughter-in-law Dawn Haars. She is survived by: her children, David Haars of Webster, Clifton Haars of Barling, Arkansas, Janet Haars of Huntington and Carol Kasten of Troy, Montana; and her brother Douglas Matheny of Spring, TX.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
