He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard and Genell Blaylock (Spain); his sisters, Betty Burrows and Linda Duke; and his son Michael Allen Blaylock.

He is survived by: his son Jerry Ray Blaylock, Jr. (Amy); his daughter-in-law Kim Blaylock; his grandchildren, Josh Blaylock (Erin) and Hannah Lewis (Michael); his great grandchildren, James, Isabelle, Olivia Blaylock, Luke, Lydia and Leeland Lewis; and his sister Selba Marino.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas.
