He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Alfred and Nellie Mae Dunaway (Mercier); his siblings, Jim, Eugene, Junior, Ray, Bill, Betty Sue and Mary; and his great grandchild Sam Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Dunaway; his daughter Cheryl Gentry (Jerry); his grandson Max (Georgette); his great grandchildren, James and Gentry; his granddaughter Rachel (Bill); his great grandchildren, Hadassah, Rebekah and Sarai Sagely; his granddaughter Tiffany (Dan); his daughter Rita Noblin (Ceeth); his grandson Eddie (Brittney); his great grandchildren, William, Derek and Bryce; his granddaughter Maria; his great grandchildren, Serena and Brent Garrett; his son Wayne Mantooth; his grandson Chris (Sara Mantooth); his great grandchild Lily Mantooth; and his siblings, Frank, Virginia and Jannilla. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Free Will Baptist Church (4001 Armour St, Fort Smith, AR 72904).
