He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Phelps and Lillian Louise Phelps; his son Scott Phelps; his grandson Neil; and his siblings, Edward Phelps, Naomi and Mary Katherine.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Phelps; his sons, Ron Phelps (Carin) and Randy Phelps; his grandchildren, Randi Michelle (Shandall), Carrie, Tyler (Destiny), Jake (Samantha) and Nick; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Brady, Aubrey and Ayla.
