He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Scribner and Ellen Louise Rickett; and his siblings, David Scribner, Donnie Scribner and Betty Scribner.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Reed; and his children, Lalo Honea (Johnny), Ayla Moon (Gage) and David Sallee (Stephanie). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
