He is survived by: his wife Karen Jean Ahart McDaniel; his children, Shawn Patrick McDaniel (Alicia) and Brittany Liana Wilson; his grandchildren, Taylor Johnson (Matt), Price (Jordan), Pierce McDaniel, John McMichael (Hannah) and Josef Wullenwaber; his great grandchildren, Case Sones, Rose McDaniel, Caroline McMichael and Juliet McMichael; his siblings, John McDaniel (Gail) and Mary Webb (Phil); and his sister-in-law Melinda Lupton (Max).
