She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Edward Merchant and Helena Elizabeth Merchant (Cook); her husband Junior Eugene Fitch; her sons, Arthur and Arnold Fitch; and her great grandchild Colleen Rose Villwock.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Howerton (Carl) of Alma, AR and Wayne Fitch of Fort Smith; and her grandchildren, Christy Fitch, Jake Fitch, Heather Dunham (Eric), Brandy Villwock (Adam), Tara Fitch, Shawnn Howerton (Jamie), Bryan Howerton (Brittany), Keith Fitch (Jennifer) and Kevin Fitch (Terra). She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
