With sadness, we share the passing of Kiem Loan Trinh Le (Fort Smith, Arkansas). Kiem, born on August 3, 1938, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Trinh Van Tieng and Tran Thi Em; her husband Nhiem Quang Le; her siblings, Hoa, Loc, Duyen, Bach, Tuyet, Chin and Tho; and her son-in-law Brian Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Phuong, Thai, Chi (Steven), Charlene, Yubi, VyVy, Reed, Vien and Tam; her great grandchildren, Adalynn, Isaac, Jaxon and Callum; her siblings, Chau, Dong, Khanh Trinh (Hue) and Dung (Mai); and her sisters-in-law, Hong Dao Trinh and Doan Trinh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and her large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Ocker-Putman Funeral Home (4500 Jenny Lind Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
In honor of her decades of service and her many contributions to students and to the school system, then Mayor Ray Baker honored her by naming May 29, 2009, as Kiem Loan Trinh Le Day.
