He is survived by: his sons, Marcus Phillips of Fort Smith and Ethan Phillips of Charleston; and his siblings, Tammy Powell of Van Buren, Roberta Gordon of Alma, Melvin of Van Buren and Marvin Phillips of Van Buren.
