He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie Sparks and Lewis Sparks Sr.; his wife Anne Sparks; and his sisters, Marilyn Newman and Ginger Belmont.
He is survived by: his son Cory Sparks; his granddaughters, Beatrix and Ella Sparks; his siblings, Sharon Coan (Field McDonald) and David Sparks (Mary Sparks); and his siblings-in-law, Jayne Evans (Francis) and Jimmy Newman. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 6:30 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (22 N 13th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
