He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie O. Orvik and Sylvia Ardelle Orvik (Thompson); and his sister Nancy Soucek. He is survived by: his siblings, Rachael Thompson (Larry), Bennett Orvik (JoAnn), Merlin Orvik (Rachel) and Joe Orvik (Emily). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
