She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Stankewitz and Jewel Stankewitz (Evans); her stepfather Roy Roberts; her sister Becky Fisk; her aunt Corrine Gibbs; her uncle Tillman Evans; and her cousins, Ruth Frick and Jane Kirby.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Walls (Jim) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Randy Carter of Long Beach, Todd Carter (Kellie) of Knoxville, Brent Carter (Carmen) of Canyon Lake, California and Deanna Walls of Shirley, Massachusetts; her cousin Norma Hopkins of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and her nephew James Fisk of Fort Smith, Arkansas.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ocker-Putman Funeral Home (4500 Jenny Lind Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
