Margot Faier Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margot Faier of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Julius Stein and Helene Stein (Plätzer); and her husband Dr. Samuel Z. Faier. She is survived by : her cousins, Jeannette and Jennings Stein; her daughters, Susan Faier of Chicago and Lynn Faier Benton; her grandchildren, Julia and Brian Benton; and also Gary Benton. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Contributions are welcome for: United Hebrew Congregation Fort Smith, Fort Smith Public Library, or Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Foundation.
