She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Yager and Evelyn Yager (Hubbard); her husband Charles Morton; her grandparents, Mary Hubbard Smith and Cecil Hubbard; her in-laws, Joseph and Eleanor Morton; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Morton, Wylie Morton, Charlene Bromley and Beth Morton.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Morton, Kim (Mike McFadden) and Chuck (Carla Morton); her grandchildren, Breanna Callaway, Tyler Garnett, Jacob Morton, Joey Morton, Tyler Callaway, Lisa Walker and Jennifer Freeman; her great grandchildren, Sara Hinson, Melissa Walker, Stefani Walker, Christian Freeman, Haley Freeman, Miranda Freeman and Justin Freeman; her great great grandchild Addison; and her siblings, Barbara (Eugene Sparks), Carol (Calvin Bradshaw), Jack (Missy Yager) and Rose Yager. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel, Arkansas Email (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904).
