She was predeceased by: her father Charley Haney; and her siblings, Delores Classon and Tommy Haney. She is survived by: her mother Violet Haney (Inkebarger); her husband William Schmalz; her son Duane Schmalz of Fort Smith; her grandchildren, Ryan Schmalz and Hannah Melton; and her siblings, Steve Haney, David Haney and Ann Rogers. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church (1301 Frank St, Barling, AR 72923).
