It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Irene Russell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jasper Melson and Anna Melson (Kimbill); and her husband Robert Russell. She is survived by : her children, Glenda Flanagan of Mulberry, Tony Ritchie of West Fork, James Ritchie of Van Buren and Jody Mize of Fort Smith; and her siblings, Flarncie Slone of Fayetteville and Paul Melson of Wesley. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
