He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Vernon Whitworth; and his brothers, Steven and Michael Whitworth. He is survived by: his wife Terri; his mother Lynna Jo Patterson; his siblings, Richard Whitworth (Kami) and Lisa LaRosa (Ray); his children, Zachary Whitworth of Springdale, Taylor Parker (Michael) of Tempe and Jacob Whitworth (Mariny) of Conway; and his grandchildren, Mille Jane Parker and Benjamin Oliver Parker of Tempe, Arizona.. He is also survived by his family, friends.

The family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to the Glioblastoma Research Organization in memory of Mat.
